A friendship born to meet your arena needs
In April of 2021, Andrea enlisted the expertise of Jesse Boyd, but only after Jesse told him he could overhaul his track and have him back to riding on Monday morning. Not convinced he could create a new base, bring in new material, and laser level everything in 48 hours, he put him to the test.
What he didn’t realize was that Jesse had over a decade of experience in commercial excavation and fine grading, a world where efficiency and precision is mandatory. Impressed with the end result, he
had Jesse take over managing his ground and a friendship was formed.
Over the years they started talking about improvements that could be made with their equipment and the frustrations they faced to maintain consistent footing. Talking turned into designing and ultimately Elite Equipment was created.

Jesse has worked on arenas from California to Texas. Each location had its own needs based on the climate, materials available, and whether they have a covered arena or tracks. What he quickly realized was that every facility had the same issues maintaining the excellent ground they had just invested in. Yes, lack of education was a big component, but there was something else missing.

A man that needs no introduction. Less than a year after crossing the 8 million dollar earning mark, he became the first NRHA rider to surpass $9 million in earnings. To top off this incredible accomplishment, he is also getting inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame this year.
To Andrea, “Every detail is important.” and “success often hinges on how the finer details are managed”. Having excellent ground is a non-negotiable and one of the most important parts of his training program.
